Over the Easter long weekend, HELI Oceania proudly joined forces with Forklogic Racing to take on one of Australia’s most iconic endurance motorsport events — the 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour. With our branding front and centre on the team’s car, the partnership not only highlighted HELI’s passion for performance and durability but also celebrated a thrilling weekend of motorsport action at the world-famous Mount Panorama Circuit.
A Weekend of High Stakes and High Speed
The Bathurst 6 Hour is a true test of man and machine, with 70 production-based cars lining up on the grid, representing a wide range of manufacturers and classes. This year’s event, broadcast nationally via SBS and Fox Sports, captivated motorsport fans across the country.
Driving under the Forklogic banner, our race car featured a bold HELI Oceania livery and was piloted by a talented trio: Oli Loiacono, Alex Holzl, and Dieter Holzl. These drivers brought a combination of youth, experience, and determination to the demanding mountain track.
A Promising Start… Then Drama Unfolded
From the start, the Forklogic / HELI Oceania team showed pace and precision. After a strategic and clean opening stint, the car held a solid lead in its class, showcasing the kind of performance HELI stands behind — strong, reliable, and built for endurance.
But as every motorsport fan knows, anything can happen at Bathurst.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, the car ran out of fuel just metres before the pit lane, a scenario that cost the team valuable time. After quickly recovering and returning to the race, the team mounted an impressive comeback, clawing back positions and fighting into 4th place in A1 class.
With determination driving them forward, the team was on track to make a comeback into the A1 class top 3 until a collision with another A1 class car dashed those hopes late in the race. Despite the setbacks, the team displayed resilience and grit, finishing a commendable 4th in their class and 15th overall (out of a whopping 70 cars) — an impressive result!
