Heli Launched the First 4-5T Hydrogen-Powered Forklift in China

Latest News

On October 28th, Heli unveiled the first 4-5 ton hydrogen fuel cell forklift in Shanghai, marking a significant milestone as the first hydrogen-powered forklift of this capacity class in China.

Developed by Anhui Heli Co., Ltd., this hydrogen fuel cell forklift represents a crucial addition to the hydrogen-powered forklift lineup. Its fuel cell system boasts a power of up to 25kW, with a peak power of 55kW, showcasing advanced performance internationally. The hydrogen-powered forklift is characterised by its safety, efficiency, maintenance-free operation, long lifespan, and adaptability to both high and low temperatures.

Compared to traditional fuel forklifts, this hydrogen-powered variant eliminates emission pollution, markedly improving the environmental conditions of its operating environment while significantly reducing vehicle vibration and noise levels for a more comfortable driving experience.

In contrast to purely electric forklifts, hydrogen-powered models do not necessitate lengthy recharging times. Instead, they offer the advantage of quick refuelling with hydrogen, taking only 3 minutes to complete the process before being able to work continuously for up to 4 hours. Moreover, the endurance of hydrogen-powered forklifts remains unaffected by ambient temperature fluctuations.

To foster the development and commercialisation of hydrogen forklifts, HELI has integrated hydrogen-powered products into its new energy system as a pivotal and promising segment of the company’s development strategy. HELI has also forged strategic partnerships with key enterprises in the hydrogen energy industry chain. Moving forward, HELI pledges to continue its efforts in the field of hydrogen forklifts, launching a comprehensive series of hydrogen-powered products encompassing all types of counterbalanced forklifts, tractors, and storage trucks. Furthermore, HELI aims to deepen collaboration with core enterprises across the hydrogen industry chain, continually enhancing its industrial layout, and contributing to the global advancement of hydrogen-powered forklifts.
